Today (at the time of recording) is International Women’s Day.
Women who are making a difference. I salute you. Woman who are living on their own terms. I salute you. Women. I salute you!
And more to the point. People, I salute you!
Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m fired up when it comes issues around equality, and I mean real equality. I get frustrated with positive discrimination.
Women have been making a contribution to the world for decades, centuries. And why shouldn't we..... We're people right?
In this episode I want to talk about the positive discrimination that's plaguing the UK today in the name of equality. I want to address the fact that women are not actually the underdog, and are quite capable of getting from A to B themselves. I want to help discourage organisations from lowering the politically correct bar so that us women can get on board.
I know this will ruffle some feathers, but if we want change, we have to effect change....the right way!
