There's no position higher than owning your own company, no matter how small. There’s nothing better than creating the workplace yourself.
As I drove through South London on my way into central London (at a traffic induced snails pace), all I could see to my left and my right, were small and medium sized shops/enterprises run and owned by people of colour. Workplaces created by people of colour.
Why isn't anyone talking about this? Why aren't we acknowledging this? Why are we busy looking for where people of colour don’t exist in the UK, and not noticing just how much is being created and how m much is being achieved by people of colour.
