I’m a little gutted because, our Diane Abbott is in a powerful position and for people who have shallow minds, she represents black women and black people.
That poor show, that long running comedy series of her less than average performance does nothing for me as a black women.
If we want to achieve diversity in this country, in the workplace, the only way to do it is to put the right person in the right position. There are plenty of highly skilled and intelligent black women out there who’d do an amazing job.
