Ryan was an accountant for few months, then he moved in sales roles, and became a key accountant manager, later he moved into business development manager role. He worked for big corporates and helped them expand business across the country. Recently he started his own business in yoga and mindfulness. As a person that had changed careers multiple times, Ryan shared with us the nitty gritty of this journey.
He also talked about the key skills in sales and business development manager roles
1.Storytelling: to be able to tell a story that captivate your prospects + clients and is of their interests in wants and needs
2.Active listening: listen fully of what others have to say and understanding their wants and needs from the services or products
3.Non-judgmental attitudes: Accept with people that we disagree with, not to judge their behavior or expression as right/wrong, simply take it as it is.
