Uk: Зимовий день у Карпатах завітав з холодним вітром і снігом, що кришиться під ногами.
En: A winter day in the Karpaty arrived with a cold wind and snow that crunched underfoot.

Uk: Василь стоїть біля свого скромного будинку на фермі.
En: Vasyl stands by his modest house on the farm.

Uk: На невеликій дошці він пакує подарунки для дітлахів з сусіднього села.
En: On a small board, he is packing gifts for the children from the neighboring village.

Uk: Сьогодні день Святого Миколая, свято, яке сповнює село теплом і радістю.
En: Today is St. Nicholas Day, a holiday that fills the village with warmth and joy.

Uk: Оксана, його давня подруга, підходить до нього із усмішкою.
En: Oksana, his longtime friend, approaches him with a smile.

Uk: Вона завжди мріяла побачити мир за межами села, але сьогодні – це бажання оповите снігами.
En: She has always dreamed of seeing the world beyond the village, but today that desire is shrouded in snow.

Uk: Намагаючись знайти новий шлях, Василь проводить Оксану через густий замет, котрі віддалённіші, але все ж вони знайшли прохід.

Uk: Переходячи цей бар'єр, вони нарешті виходять на дорогу до села.
