In this episode, Nicole Blanche Guerin interviewed Julia Lanouette. Julia has over 12 years’experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in addition to 5 years of nursing experience in acute care and home care. Prior to entering the health care arena, Julia worked in the Risk Management and Technology sectors. Currently, she is the Director of Pharmacovigilance Operations with Moderna Therapeutics, Boston, Mass. In this current role, Julia sets the strategy for developing and writing the global pharmacovigilance and manages relationships with Moderna’s business partners to ensure the secure exchange of safety data for clinical trials and post-marketing products. Previously, Julia held various positions at Merck & Co. in Business Development, Pharmacovigilance Licensing, Regulatory Affairs, International and Clinical Safety and Risk Management.
Julia has a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies, with a concentration in International from Dickenson College (2001), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through the second degree program at Villanova University and a Master of Science in Nursing Innovation from Drexel University. Julia lives in Montgomery County, Pa. with her family. She is an active member Sigma Theta Tau.
