Lv: Jūrmalas pludmalē, rudenī, jūras viļņi plūda pār smiltīm un vējš spēlējās ar koku lapām.
En: In the Jūrmala beach in autumn, the sea waves flowed over the sand, and the wind played with the tree leaves.

Lv: Agnese stāvēja uz veranda un vēroja sauli, kas lēnām nolaidās aiz horizonta.
En: Agnese stood on the porch and watched the sun slowly set beyond the horizon.

Lv: Viesu namiņš, ko viņa bija rezervējusi, bija mājīgs un silts.
