Description

The roll out of renewable heating and cooling is key to our
battle to combat climate change. Yet heat pumps generally require a lot of excavation, or bulky equipment which can be difficult to accommodate in dense urban settings.

Enerdrape has addressed this issue by exploiting latent heat
in underground spaces, such as tube stations, shopping malls and underground car parks. By connecting large thin wall-mounted panels to a heat pump, they’re able to provide renewable heating and cooling to urban spaces such as office blocks with minimal impact on the fabric of the building.

I interviewed Margaux Peltier, Founder and CEO of Enerdrape at CES on January 8th 2025.

I hope you enjoy it.
