Description

Pancreatic cancer is often described as a silent killer, because there are no clear symptoms and it’s often detected when patients only have weeks left to live. Another amazing founder that I interviewed at CES on January 9th 2025 was Logan Nye of Galen Health. A medic and computer scientist, Logan and his team has devised an AI that helps predict the onset of Pancreatic Cancer much, much earlier than is typically the case today. It does this by automatically and continuously scanning medical records, looking for correlations that human medics simply do not have the time for.

In the interview, Logan explains why he chose to make this his life’s work, how the system works and how it could ultimately be applied to many other cancer types.
