Description

Whoa - this was a hot button one! A listener asked whether it was fair for her boyfriend of 6 months to expect her to financially support him in his early retirement. She’s working and he’s not. She earns more income than him. Her net worth is a lot larger. But is it ever fair for one partner to quit working and expect the other one to support them?

Despite my initial reaction of “Hell no!”, Joel and I discuss the nuances of this controversial issue. We hashed out why this request would be unreasonable in some relationships but may be perfectly reasonable in others.

So tune in if you want to hear our guy vs girl agreement and disagreement as we try to advise our listener.
