Equity and Choice in Health Care Access, a conference in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Center for Health Administration Studies (CHAS) at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, kicked off with a session that included two speakers and a respondent, entitled, “Long-Term Care Needs and Access to Care under the ACA.” The first speaker was Howard Gleckman, discussing the challenges of the long-term care model in the United States, potential solutions, and movement toward reform.
