Lv: Zelta lapas klāja Gaujmalas taku kā mīkstu segu.
En: Golden leaves covered the Gaujmalas trail like a soft blanket.

Lv: Rudenīgi dzeltenas, tās trīcēja zem Mārtiņa soļiem, kad viņš gāja dziļāk nacionālajā parkā, tieši uz seno Livonijas ordeņa pilsdrupu pusi.
En: Autumn-yellowed, they quivered under Mārtiņš's steps as he walked deeper into the national park, heading directly toward the ancient ruins of the Livonijas Order castle.

Lv: Viņu pavadīja divi pavadoņi – māsa Ilze un draugs Jānis.
En: Accompanying him were two companions – his sister Ilze and his friend Jānis.

Lv: Ilze bija nobažījusies, bet atbalstoša.
En: Ilze was worried but supportive.

Lv: "Varbūt tas viss ir leģenda, Mārtiņ..."

Lv: Bet Jānis, izlasot dažus vārdus, pamanīja:
