Thursday, December 21st Southern California 7 Day Surf Forecast
Description
Here's your So Cal 7-day surf forecast starting tomorrow, Friday 22nd:
On Friday, there will be widespread waist-stomach high waves at average exposures, with chest-shoulder high waves at good breaks. Southern Ventura, the South Bay, and South SD will likely see surf around head-high. Expect the surf to taper down through the day. Favorable offshore flow conditions are expected for the morning.
Heading into Saturday, surfers can expect chest high waves at west facing breaks, primarily from a NW wind swell. The offshore flow conditions will continue, making for good wave quality.
On Sunday, chest to head-high waves are predicted at west facing breaks. The ground swell will be the dominant factor on this day.
Monday's forecast continues the trend with chest to head-high waves at west facing breaks.
For Tuesday, the surf height is expected to increase, with waves running 2-4' overhead at west facing breaks.
On Wednesday, expect waves around 2' overhead at west facing breaks.
Finally, on Thursday, the potential for Double Overhead surf at west facing breaks exists.
Overall, Tuesday and Thursday will be the best days to catch waves with both days expecting overhead surf.
