Wednesday, December 20th Southern California 7 Day Surf Forecast
Description
Here's your So Cal 7-day surf forecast starting tomorrow.
Thursday the 21st will see WNW swell peak in the morning, providing widespread chest to shoulder-high waves at average exposures. Top breaks in Southern Ventura, the South Bay, and South SD will run head-high to 1-2' overhead but winds can be a challenge.
On Friday the 22nd, the surf will be chest to head-high at west-facing breaks, although conditions may vary.
Moving into the weekend, Saturday the 23rd should expect a swell, mainly from the northwest. The waves will run chest+ at west-facing breaks.
Sunday the 24th will likely offer chest to head-high waves at west-facing breaks. The groundswell will be dominant at this time.
Starting the new week, Monday the 25th will see a slight decrease in surf height, going down to chest-high at west-facing breaks.
The action picks up again on Tuesday the 26th, where you can expect head-high to slightly overhead waves at west-facing breaks.
On Wednesday the 27th, the surf should run head-high to slightly overhead at west-facing breaks.
Considering both the surf height and conditions, the best days to surf would be Thursday the 21st and Tuesday the 26th. While Thursday offers the peak of the WNW swell, Tuesday will provide a nice run of head-high to slightly overhead waves.
