HIGHLIGHTS IN THIS VIDEO
- More ridge building is likely in the next couple of weeks across the southern Plains, Delta and interior southeastern states suggesting a drier bias for those areas in time
- Rain will continue fall abundantly in the heart of the Midwest
- Timely rain occurs in Canada's Prairies and the Northern U.S. Plains, although some of the rain may be overdone
- No excessive heat is expected in North America over the next two weeks
- Canada's Prairies still have pockets of notable dryness that must be relieved
- West Texas is drier for the next two weeks than advertised Friday
- Northern France, the U.K., Low Countries and northwestern Germany will get rain this weekend and especially next week while southern France and the lower Danube River Basin remain dry biased
- Very warm to hot weather occurred from eastern Ukraine into Kazakhstan during the weekend accelerating crop stress in the driest areas
- East-central China will dry out for a while
- Tropical Activity in the far western Pacific Ocean may send a succession of tropical systems through China, Japan and the Korean peninsula in the next few weeks
- Not much change in Australia, Brazil or Argentina
- Rain is expected in southern India this weekend into next week
