My Clinic: https://www.clearhealthmedical.com Summary A recent study in the American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine explored the protective effect of certain vitamins on hearing loss. The study conducted a meta-analysis of dietary consumption studies to determine the association between vitamin intake and hearing loss. The study found that a higher intake of antioxidants and vitamins, such as beta-carotene, retinol, and riboflavin, was inversely associated with the risk of developing hearing loss. However, the study had limitations, including the accuracy of diet recall and the variability in hearing tests. Overall, consuming a variety of fruits and vegetables can help protect against hearing loss. Takeaways A higher intake of antioxidants and vitamins is associated with a lower risk of hearing loss.
