James and Rupert Murdoch faced a parliamentary committee in the UK to provide answers about practices at NotW.

Questions on the culture of Murdoch news rooms and knowledge of payments to people linked with criminal activity were met with denial.

In Australia attention is being given to reportage of the issue amongst a print media that is largely dominated by News Ltd.
