Description

Erin O’Dwyer started her career as a journalist in 1997, writing for the Queensland Times and then the Courier Mail. It was an interesting time in QLD given Pauline Hanson was on the rise.

Since then Erin has contributed to Vogue, Australian Geographic, The Sun Herald, and the ABC’s, Radio National…to name a few.

She won an Australian United Nations Media Peace Award in 2006 and was a finalist in 2010.

Some recent pieces from Erin include a gritty and personal insight into online dating and a profile of Angry Boys creator, Chris Lilley.

Now living on the South Coast on NSW, she regularly contributes to the Sydney Morning Herald and lectures at UTS.

I spoke with Erin O’Dwyer about Pauline Hanson, “The online love lotto”, and the puzzling Chris Lilley.
