Left in the wake of the NotW closure is a conversation about journalistic ethics and media ownership.

NewsStand is an online organising vehicle set-up in response to that discussion and they are calling for a full Parliamentary inquiry “to scrutinise the media landscape as a whole”.

Questions remain about how to maintain standards in a highly competitive environment and what kind of impact concentrated ownership has on the notion of a “free press”.

NewsStand admits they don’t have all the answers but values fairness and diversity and wants your help to transform the media.
