13: Colon resection surgery and coping with major digestive issues with Bobbi Klein
Description
On this episode, I sit down with Bobbi Klein, a motivational speaker and event marketer who loves to live life to the fullest. She's normally on the road traveling 90% of the time, but makes herself and her health a priority. A decade ago, Bobbi was suffering from unexplained weight loss, abdominal pain, and malabsorption of nutrients, but couldn't get an accurate diagnosis from a doctor. After a trip to the ER and prescription for pain meds, she was written off as "crazy." Not long after, Bobbi ended up in emergency surgery and had part of her colon resected (she was definitely not crazy). Following her surgery, Bobbi spent multiple years in recovery and talks us through the specific modalities she used to heal her gut and microbiome. We talk about her love of ice baths, the paleo diet, and the importance of your circadian rhythm.
If you enjoyed hearing Bobbi's story and want to stay connected, you can find her at social @bobbiklein.
