17. Mindful Eating Meditation
Description
Today we will be talking a little bit about Mindfulness, which is an important pillar in your meditation practice. Think about it: Let's say you meditate for 15 minutes a day. How long can your meditation practice really support you during 24 hours? Using mindfulness throughout your day will help you prolong the effects of your daily meditation practice.
For this meditation you will need a fresh fruit or a vegetable. Maybe a raisin, a carrot, a bell-pepper or an apple? Something you enjoy eating, something you have at hand right now, something you can simply bite into without peeling it and most importantly, something you are not allergic to. Pause me for a moment to go and get it.
Today, there will not be any music accompanying this meditation, so you can place all of your focus onto your chosen fruit or vegetable (creatively names "fruitable" in this meditation)
