💁🏻 Concept: Sex and Perversion

God created sex to be pure, joyful, and life-giving, but sin corrupted it through lust, adultery, and immorality. The Fall distorted God’s design, turning intimacy into idolatry and selfish indulgence (Romans 1:24 –25). Instead of reflecting covenant love, perverted sex enslaves the heart and dishonors the body, which was meant to glorify God.

📖 Bible Readings: Leviticus 18

(Genesis 3:6–7; Romans 1:24 –25; Leviticus 18:1–5; 2 Samuel 11:2–4; 1 Corinthians 6:18 –20; Galatians 5:19 –21; Colossians 3:5)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:

1. The only valid sex is within marriage.

2. The distortion of sex is called porneia.

3. The Lord hates porneia, and so should we.

💪🏼 Applications:

1. Flee from every form of sexual immorality.

2. Fight temptation by refusing to negotiate.

3. Fix your eyes on Christ and be busy.

Why is it better to tell the truth that God hates porneia than to be silent?

🙏🏼 Prayer:

Lord God, I confess that sin has twisted what You made holy. Too often the world celebrates and promotes perversion of sex instead of purity. Protect my mind and heart from lust and from every temptation that dishonors You. Remind me that my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and belongs to You. Help me to turn away from secret sins and to walk in holiness. Cleanse me with the blood of Jesus and restore in me a pure heart. May my life reflect Your design, not the world’s distortion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
