💁🏻 Concept: Sex and Lordship

Sex is not an area of life that stands apart from Christ’s authority. As Lord, He calls us to submit every thought, desire, and action—including our sexuality—to His rule. When sex is lived under His Lordship, it becomes an act of worship, reflecting purity, faithfulness, and covenant love. Outside His Lordship, it leads to distortion and destruction.

📖 Bible Readings: 1 Corinthians 6:19 –20

(Colossians 3:17 ; Romans 12:1–2; Philippians 2:9–11; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5; Ephesians 5:3–5; Hebrews 13:4)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:

1. Sex is not a domain outside of Christ’s Lordship. 

2. Sanctification is God’s will under Christ’s Lordship. 

3. Surrender is the only response to Christ’s Lordship.

1. Surrender your desires daily to Christ’s Lordship.

2. Separate from practices that dishonor His name.

3. Seek to glorify Christ in every area of intimacy.

🙏🏼 Prayer:

Lord God, I confess that every part of my life, including my sexuality, belongs to You. Teach me to honor You not just in words but in the secret places of my heart. Protect me from the lies of the world that separate sex from Your authority. Purify my desires so they reflect Your holiness. Help me to live as a faithful steward of the body You gave me. May my intimacy always glorify You and reflect the love of Christ for His church. Lead me to walk in purity, obedience, and joy under the Lordship of Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
