💁🏻 Concept: Sex and Freedom

God designed sex to be a gift enjoyed within the covenant of marriage. Sin, however, distorts this gift, turning it into bondage and shame. True freedom is not found in indulging sinful desires but in surrendering them to Christ. In Him, we are set free from slavery to lust and enabled to honor God with our bodies.

📖 Bible Readings: John 8:10-11

(1 Corinthians 6:18 –20; Galatians 5:1; Romans 6:12 –14, 12:2; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5; 2 Timothy 2:22 )

2. Christ sets us free from condemnation.

3. Christ sets us free to live for God.

Three steps to freedom: 

1. Renew your mind and lifestyle.

2. Rely on the power of the Spirit.

3. Revisit the cross of Christ.

🙏🏼 Prayer:

Lord God, thank You for setting me free from the chains of sin. I confess that the world often tempts me to misuse what You created for good. Help me to walk not in bondage but in the freedom You purchased with Your blood. Guard my heart and mind from lust and renew my thoughts with Your Word. Teach me to honor You with my body and to find joy in purity. May my freedom not be for selfish desire, but for loving and serving You. Let me revisit the cross of Christ and find forgiveness and grace. In Christ’s name, Amen.
