Description

Our guest today is Audrey Walleser Martin.  Many people are not use to seeing a pageant queen and a firefighter as the same person. The amazing part about being a title holder is the crown is a key to unlock opportunities that would not be available otherwise. In the course of my daily duties I do a lot of public education and awareness. I spend my day working with local, community, county, state and national individuals on safety strategy and policy. When able to put on a crown you are able to educate and bring awareness on a different level. Through parades, PSA's, appearances and non profit work and relationships, I can spread the messages to different audiences. Emergency preparedness is something that effects everyone. Communities and individuals facing disaster, despair, and accidents are comforted, treated and reassured these highly trained individuals. These responders want nothing more than to protect and serve their communities. In my case that person wears a crown and boots.

Competing in pageants is hard work.  Sometimes people from the outside don't see how much goes into preparing, practicing and if you win...well that's even more work.  That is why I created the Pageant Success Journal, a daily planner that spans over 90 days and includes space for a vision board, goals, expenses, sponsor information and so much more!
