Ca: Les fulles seques dansaven pel pati de l'Orfenat Sant Jordi.
En: The dry leaves danced across the courtyard of the Orfenat Sant Jordi.

Ca: Era tardor i l'aire fresc portava l'aroma de castanyes torrades dels carrers.
En: It was autumn, and the fresh air carried the aroma of roasted chestnuts from the streets.

Ca: A dins, els nens estaven emocionats.
En: Inside, the children were excited.

Ca: Halloween s'acostava i tothom parlava de les disfresses.
En: Halloween was approaching, and everyone was talking about costumes.

Ca: La Laia, amb els seus rínxols càlids, mirava el seu germà petit, l'Oriol.
En: Laia, with her warm curls, looked at her little brother, Oriol.

Ca: Volia veure’l feliç a la festa.

Ca: Però l’orfenat tenia un pressupost molt ajustat i les opcions eren poques.

Ca: Volia fer feliç el seu germà, però també volia mantenir l'harmonia amb els altres nens.
En: She wanted to make her brother happy but also wanted to maintain harmony with the other children.

Ca: Van anar a fer una ullada a les disfresses al poble.
En: They went to take a look at the costumes in the village.

Ca: Hi havia capa de superheroi, vestit de vampir, i allà, al racó, un magnífic drac verd amb ales brillants.
En: There was a superhero cape, a vampire suit, and there, in the corner, a magnificent green dragon with shiny wings.

Ca: Era perfecte.
En: It was perfect.

Ca: “És per a l'Oriol!
En: "It's for Oriol!"

Ca: ”, va pensar la Laia amb un somriure.

Ca: Però la Nuria també havia posat els ulls sobre aquell drac.
En: But Nuria had also set her eyes on that dragon.

Ca: “Amb això farem el grup més original d’aquesta festa!
En: "With this, we’ll have the most original group at the party!"

Ca: ”, va dir, decidida a defensar la seva idea.
En: she said, determined to defend her idea.

Ca: La Laia va respirar profundament.
En: Laia took a deep breath.

Ca: Sabia que era el moment de parlar pel seu germà.
