Need both, change modalities bike, swim, HIIT, Hiking, Hill Running, Reduce Reps keep intensity/challenge, Isometric holds- save the joints - less reps on joints,

plan/periodization, 1x/wk isometric, 1x/wk Heavy dynamic strength, 1x/wk interval cardio, 1x/wk SS/LSD, 1x light movement/ROM/Correctives
