1. You need to start by assessing where you are now: Start by taking a good look at where you stand right now. You need to assess your current performance and skills to see how they measure up against the Olympic standards. This will help you pinpoint what you need to work on and set clear goals for your training.
2. What is your current level & ability, assess where you need to go: As a young athlete, you need to evaluate your current performance and compare it to Olympic standards. Identify gaps, set targets to address them, and track your progress towards meeting the qualification requirements.
3. Build a team you need to get you there: Building an effective team requires selecting individuals with diverse skills and shared goals. Each member should bring unique strengths to the table, fostering collaboration and enhancing problem-solving. This approach ensures progress and resilience in the face of challenges.
4. You now develop a step by step plan; It is important you define your Olympic goals and the qualification criteria. Create a focused training plan with milestones, and enlist support from coaches and specialists. Regularly review and adjust your plan based on progress to ensure you stay on track.
