In this episode, I am joined by Katie Fisher who opens up about her journey with disordered eating and body image struggles. Katie shared what was going on for her during that time of her life, how she came to realise she had a problem, and the steps she took to change her mindset and life around.
We also discuss a very important (and not spoken about enough) topic about women's hormones and how they impact training and recovery capacity throughout the month. Katie educates us on how to sync your training with your cycle and how to become more intuitive with training, which is how she coaches all of her clients through her app: Flocoach.
We talk about alternative methods for contraception that don't involve hormones.
