Ko: 찬바람이 부는 가을 아침, 진수는 철책 사이에 서 있었다.
En: On a fall morning with a chilly breeze, Jinsu stood between the barbed wire fences.

Ko: 하늘은 회색빛으로 물들었고, 바람은 쌀쌀했다.
En: The sky was colored gray, and the wind felt cold.

Ko: 그는 DMZ에서의 근무가 익숙해졌지만, 고향 생각이 그를 자주 찾아왔다.
En: He had grown accustomed to his duty at the DMZ, but thoughts of home often came to him.

Ko: 오늘은 추석이었다.
En: Today was Chuseok.

Ko: 명절과 가족을 떠올리면 그의 마음은 더 무거워졌다.
