Floating above the Sonnborn junction
You are now floating over one of the largest motorway junctions in Germany: the Sonnborn junction. For the construction 2,000 people had to move, the monorail’s gantries had to be raised by two metres, and the bed of the River Wupper dropped for almost two kilometres.
