Legendary Lloyd "King Jammy" OD, dub mixer and record producer reasoning with Empress Skorther on Global Linkz Radio April 1, 2015 a head of his scheduled appearance at The University of the West Indies at the Neville Hall Lecture Theater in Jamaica on April 2nd.
King Jammy has played an instrumental part in revolutionizing Jamaican music and dominated the digital phase of the 80, and 90's as a Reggae dub mixer and record producer. In 2006, Lloyd "King Jammy" James was decorated by the Jamaican Government with rank of officer to the "Order of Distinction(OD)" equivalent of our Order of Merit to pay tribute for sterling contribution to artistic creation and the music industry of the country.
On February 28, 2015, King Jammy received a Producer award from The Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) Honour Awards in Kingston Jamaica.
