Description

As busy midlife women, we have to be our own advocates when it comes to wellness, diet, exercise, supplements and lifestyle choices. Ageing is knowing yourself better and figuring out what works for you. Today, there aren’t enough people standing up for the midlife woman, which is why the voices of beautiful souls like Zora Benhamou are so influential.

Zora Benhamou is a gerontologist, biohacker, minimalist, digital nomad, Positive Age-er, and host of the Hack My Age podcast. After Zora’s mother passed away from breast cancer at 57, she became interested in all things ageing, longevity and sustainable wellness. Following her passions, Zora eventually pursued a Master's degree in gerontology, the study of ageing, during the pandemic.

In the technology age, it’s normal to feel like you are constantly behind the wellness trends or fads. This episode sheds light on the reality that not everything is a one-size fits all solution, especially if you are a woman in midlife. We must be our own scientists and experiment with our unique bodies to discover what works.

In today’s episode, I go down the rabbit hole of all things ageing, biohacking and midlife with Zora Benhamou. We cover everything from the lack of women in scientific studies to biohacking tips and what’s in Zora’s nomadic suitcase.

Zora Benhamou is a gerontologist passionate about aging and longevity. She is on a mission to disrupt ageist stereotypes in social media and is host of the Hack My Age podcast focusing on biohacking for women over 50.
