Update: 2016-11-14
Description
According to World Wildlife Fund about 1.1 billion people worldwide lack access to water. And 2.7 billion people find water scarce for at least one month of the year.
Unless we do something radical about water use, food production is threatened and we may face a famine within 35 years.
But there are solutions to this problem. One is subsurface groundwater dams.
In this episode of KTH Tech Talks we meet Bo Olofsson, professor at the Division of Land and Water Resources at KTH.
