9 Electric Roads: Maria Börjesson and Peter Georén

Imagine there was a technology that provided continuous charging of your car or your truck when you are driving. So you didn´t have to stop and charge your vehicle every now and then. Actually, the technology is already here. Electric roads are currently being tested in real life situations in Sweden and in several other countries. This technology may well be one of the pieces in the puzzle of how to solve our need for a future transportation in a sustainable way.
In this episode of KTH Techtalks we meet Peter Georén and Maria Börjesson. Peter is director of the Integrated Transportation Lab – ITRL – at KTH. A lab dedicated to multidisciplinary research with regards to to developing and demonstrating new sustainable transport systems. Maria is director of the Centre for Transport Studies at KTH. Her research interests include transport cost-benefit analysis, appraisal and sustainability, transport policy and pricing transport modelling and travel behavior.
