How to be happier - 02x20: Learn from criticism
Description
A bald person already knows that he is bald. A liar knows that she is a liar. An obese person knows that she is obese. An alcoholic already knows that he is an alcoholic. A rude person knows that she is rude or rude. An evil person already knows that he is evil because it is a personal decision.
This brings them a lot of suffering and the best thing you can do to help them is not to criticize and offer a healthy friendship accompanied by acts of compassion.
Discerning is very different from criticizing. Discerning is a useful tool to separate the good, the mediocre and the bad of what is happening around you, in terms of opportunities, risks and even relationships.
You have the right to discern to choose what is best for you in life. You do not have the right to become the judge, legislator, or condemner of others. Stop this addiction. You don't need to get caught up in becoming a professional critic of people.
Use all that energy and talent in something to add value to yourself. Turn criticism into opportunities for improvement.
Remember that people can only settle for having an opinion as close to reality as possible, however this opinion is always subject to error.
