The Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic states continue to deal with drought or near drought conditions but the endless dry weather pattern ends later this week and inland areas of the Northeast could see their first snow of the season especially in elevated areas. Mostly dry across the South and colder air arrives later this week behind a cold front. Tropical Storm Sara bringing heavy rain to Central America and Belize and it is now inland and weakening with no issues for the US mainland.
