Weather in 5, 11/4/2024 A warm front lies across Upstate NY where are seeing some rain from there to Northern New England. Southern New England to South Carolina you are seeing mostly to partly sunny skies and another warmup is coming Tuesday. Record highs are possible Wednesday. Severe weather and tornadoes are breaking out in the Southern Plains to the Middle Mississippi Valley. Tropical Depression 18 is forecast to become Tropical Storm Rafael on the 4pm advisory. Hurricane Warnings are up for the Cayman Islands,. Hurricane Watches are up for Western Cuba. Tropical Storm Warnings are posted for Jamaica. This system is forecast to become a hurricane by Wednesday morning and then head into the Gulf of Mexico where its future is somewhat uncertain.
