A cool shot of air has started the week but another warmup begins Tuesday as a warm front goes by to the north and high pressure moves off the Southeast US coast. Dry weather continues throughout much of the Eastern US except for Northern NY and Northern New England where some showers are possible Tuesday. In the Mississippi Valley and Plains look for increasing chances for heavy rain and severe weathter later this week.
