Cold air around a large upper air storm will bring accumulating snow ot the Interior elevated areas of the Northeast to the the Central Appalachains. Heavy and thunderstorms cover the Plains and Mississippi River Valley. Coastal heavy rains and mountain snows continue in the Western US as a major storm lies off the coast of Washington and Oregon.
