We have our first repeat guests – Greg and Carrie Beavers, CEOs and Founders of One Flesh Awakening. For a more detailed background on them, see our show notes and audio from our very first episode here.

In their counseling they say it boils down to three things that are the root of all problems:

1. Open Communication

2. Finances (Money)

3. Affection (Sex)

God has given them this structure, and they’ve found it’s easy for couples to understand and remember.

One thing God showed them was the need to work on their finances together so that they could become a more One Flesh marriage. So on New Year’s day this last year, they hammered out a budget together, and God has since blessed their finances further.

They say we’re all on the marriage path together, but the difference is they have the tools to us so that when drifting occurs, they can get back on the right path together. This is what they will be teaching at our one day event on June 7.

Carrie talks about her book, that it’s been designed for couples to do together as well as on their own time.

Greg finalizes the interview by saying to do a few things each couple should be doing

• Date your mate one night a week


• Date your mate one weekend a quarter


• Date your mate one week minimum per year


• Go to at least one conference each year in your area
