As a nutriton and fitness expert, I often think about Hippocrates quote, "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food" and wonder, how have we swayed so far from this simple, yet effective concept? Instead of fueling our bodies with pure, whole foods, we find ways to manipulate our bodies to lose weight (only to gain it back), have more energy - only to struggle with sleep and stress.
