Often people set resolutions for transformation each January, many of which have to do with health or finances but today we're talking about transformational energy healing!
Gül Sönmez is a Transformational Energy Coach, internationally renowned for her ability to channel people’s past traumas and buried memories so they can overcome anxieties, self-doubt, and stressors in order to live aligned, purposeful lives.
After 15 years of working at large multinational corporations like P&G, Coca-Cola and achieving a seemingly pitch-perfect life, Gül began to manifest pain and injuries in her body. Only after her transformation healing journey did she realize her ability to channel energy and step into the life she wanted, not what others expected of her. In an act of pivotal, radical self-care, Gül left her native Turkey and moved to Luxembourg, leaving her job, marriage, friends, and teachers behind for a corporate job at Amazon’s European HQ. This path led her to work with her first client—a friend’s son had received brain tumor surgery and they asked her if she could provide healing for him at the hospital. On the surface, it seemed as though Gül was his healer, but in reality, he was hers. As the famous poet Rumi once famously said, “What you seek is seeking you.”
Through her incredible gifts, Gül has not only radically changed her own life, but has profoundly redesigned the lives of others around her while forging her path as a 6-figure entrepreneur. In her own words, she is “not healing or sending energies to make you feel better for a short period of time; you are walking along this transformational path to initiate profound changes in your inner world.”

Let's talk about your alcohol consumption. And before you completely dismiss this topic and turn back to your glass of wine... I think considering "why" we drink is worth a discussion. Recently, I've personally noticed less and less desire to have alcohol and I think that mostly stems from realizing I don't feel like myself the next day as my body detoxifies it from my system. Though I was skeptical at first to have a conversation about an alcohol-free life, I do believe that our next guest on the Nurture Me Podcast has some very valid (scientific) points on how alcohol actually affects our bodies.
Karolina Rzadkowolska is a certified alcohol-free life coach who helps powerful women make alcohol insignificant in their lives. She’s worked with thousands of clients through her online courses and coaching to change their drinking habits and unleash a new level of health, happiness, and potential to go after their biggest dreams.
In episode no. 48, we talk about:
How alcohol impacts your body and brain
What you can expect from a break from alcohol
Other healthy coping mechanisms
Living an alcohol-free life (even temporarily)

I think as adults, many of us forget the power of self-expression through creativity. I love how our next guest redefines creativity to work for you and explains how everyone is creative in their own way.
Lindsey Rose is a self-proclaimed Creative Alchemist and the mind behind Mystik Rose Arts. Her intention in all of her offerings through Mystik Rose is to inspire others to heal themselves through creative acts such as dance, art, and storytelling. Using these elements of creation in her workshops she is able to offer a sacred space for participants to begin the process of self-inquiry and healing.
Lindsey has a lengthy background within the arts and creative spheres. When she was young she trained in dance and was in advanced art placements; eventually receiving a degree in Liberal Arts. Between her formative and college years however, Lindsey stopped all dancing and creating; eventually realizing as an adult that she was starved for these healing acts. So she became Certified as a JourneyDance Guide in 2017 at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Ayurveda in the Berkshires. This was her gateway to all acts if creativity that year she also began painting, drawing, and writing poetry again.
With the knowledge that her creativity was a catalyst in her healing, she wanted to offer this to others through Mystik Rose Arts Creation in 2020 which began with the selling of her art on Etsy. As her creation developed she found the most joy in offerings such as The Goddess Round Table which brings empowerment specifically to women in collective. She also has developed a branding and content creation subset called Creative Soul Branding assisting women to tell their business story and share their passions.
The future endeavours of Mystik Rose Arts and Lindsey include both live and virtual workshops centred around empowering women in a collective setting.
We talk about:
• What is a creative alchemist?
• Why creativity is so important for the soul
• What roles movement plays in creative expression
• Why creative expression can be so healing

As someone who is a huge fan of holistic health and a trained doula, I knew this was an important (and informative!) conversation to have. I love how the founder of MYMOOD® Vitamins, Cheyenne Burnett, breaks down postpartum moods and gives us a natural solution!
Cheyenne Burnett is an entrepreneur, author, educator, and most importantly, a wife and mother. As a new mom, more than once she felt totally blindsided by the entire postpartum period. She knew life after having her son would be different, but it was really hard for her, as a first-time mom, to wrap her head around just HOW different.
She thought, “This is an amazing, joyous time in my life, how could I possibly be THAT overwhelmed by all the changes that come with it?” But the reality is no conversation she had prepared her for the sleep deprivation, the feeding struggles, the baby blues, wildly intrusive thoughts, or the postpartum anxiety and depression… not even conversations with her doctor.
It only took a few days after delivery for her to experience a shift in her mood so severe that it felt like all the joy in the world spilled out of her and when she called her doctor things only got worse because the only solutions she was offered was to meet with a therapist (when they could fit her in) and discuss antidepressants. Since she'd had a bad experience with antidepressants in the past, she really didn't want to go that route this time. Instead, she reached back out to her Nurse and Midwife and began really digging into all-natural solutions.
After a long year of serious pushing (pun intended), testing and retesting over 30 different vitamins, minerals, and herbs, MYMOOD® Vitamins was born! The first EVER all-natural supplement, specifically designed to help alleviate the symptoms of postpartum depression such as mood swings, irritability, intrusive thoughts, sleeplessness, high anxiety, and more.
Now she has dedicated her life to helping moms just like you who are experiencing the same symptoms she did, take back control of their mood and actually enjoy the postpartum phase without the use of medication.
We talk about:
• What led her to start an all-natural postpartum supplement company
• What some symptoms of postpartum depression (and other postpartum mood disorders) we should be aware of
• How are MYMOOD® Vitamins different and why we need them
• Where we can find MYMOOD® Vitamins

I've been thinking a lot about leadership lately and how one can be a leader in their own lives in general. I think that we usually define leaders as someone who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. I do believe leadership shows up in different ways and it doesn't have to look like the conventional definition of leadership. So, I love this idea of redefining leadership on our terms as this week's podcast guest explained.
This week on the Nurture Me Podcast, I'm joined by Michelle Hrycauk Nassif, Founder & CEO of I AM A Feminine Leader, to chat all about Feminine Leadership.
Michelle Hrycauk Nassif is Founder & CEO of I AM A Feminine Leader and Creative Director of I AM Editorials. As a self-proclaimed Holistic Producer, Michelle helps female founders and entrepreneurs create embodied experiences where purpose-driven women create meaningful impact. She believes that by nurturing and encouraging women to express themselves authentically they are elevated to a state of consciousness that enriches their lives and the world around them.
Michelle creates and facilitates experiences so women connect, build relationships, and courageously RISE as the Feminine Leader they were born to be. I AM Editorials is a creative expression of storytelling and artistry created to inspire women and mothers to own their femininity and define their unique leadership style. Wife and mother of two daughters, Michelle is currently living a dream expat lifestyle in Puerto Rico!
In this episode, we talk about:
defining feminine leadership means
how leadership shows up in our daily lives
how feminine leadership shows up in motherhood
the most important conversations to have with our daughters
how Michelle helps women become leaders in their own lives
