In today’s show we talk about how you can come up with a best name for your authority site. Scott lay’s out six quick tips you can follow to help you come up with the best name for your site.

Spend the time to do the research as you do this you will find certain words and fraises searched for. The key word research will help you with some of the wording you may use for your website name.

Make the title relevant to the subjects which you are creating content about. We are tailing about building an authority site, make your site more of a brand and less of a niche site.

Your name should be as long as it needs to be. Three words seems to be a good number but you do want to get your point across. Try to use a seed key word when possible.

The .com as of now still seems to be the choice of many. We will see how that goes as he internet market becomes more and more crowded.

Make your list of possible names, think of as many of your ideal names you can come up with. Unless you are lucky many if not all may already be taken. Your may move to trying different combinations as Jim did.

If you have keywords in your name, that can help with Google search traffic. Do not force any words though make it natural. The fact that you are creating and authority site is very important.

A quick note do not use a domain name that may be a trade mark. This could cost you time and money in the long run.
