Today on The In Alignment Podcast I am speaking all about how to turn a bad day around- basically how to shift your mood if you feel stuck or full of negative energy. I felt inspired to record this episode after having a bad couple of days- feeling unmotivated and not myself- I went for a walk and had a realisation about how I could change all of this and feel better again. I walked home feeling completely fresh and immediately sat down to record this episode to share my insight with you guys.

I share my tips how to turn your day around, if it has started off badly, you can still save it and make the most of today!

1. ACKNOWLEDGE how you are feeling, acknowledge that you feel rubbish or are having a bad day.

2. Look for a REASON why you are having a bad day (there might not be one, but if there is it is useful to find it so that you can change something)

3. TALK to someone about how you feel

4. Write down/ JOURNAL how you are feeling, try to let go of it all

5. MOVEMENT - can you shift the stuck energy

6. STILLNESS - maybe you just need to be completely still and sit with how you are feeling for a moment

7. GRATITUDE - right now, stop and think of 10 things you are grateful for in this moment and say them out loud. I guarantee this will change your day.

8. Remember that tomorrow is a new day. Tomorrow can and will be better.

I hope this helps you in any way. If you are feeling down, remember that we all feel like that and go through periods of our life which aren't as good as others, but they do all pass. It gets better, I promise.
