Sl: Megla je nežno ovijala stavbo Centralne psihiatrične bolnišnice v Ljubljani.
En: The fog gently wrapped itself around the building of the Centralna psihiatrična bolnišnica in Ljubljana.

Sl: Jesenske barve so napolnile pokrajino, listje je padalo na tla, in zrak je bil poln tiste prijetne hladnosti, ki jo prinaša oktober.
En: Autumn colors filled the landscape, leaves fell to the ground, and the air was full of that pleasant chill that October brings.

Sl: Znotraj bolnišnice so pisani okraski za noč čarovnic krasili stene.
En: Inside the hospital, colorful Halloween decorations adorned the walls.

Sl: Buče so se smejale z oddelkov, duhovi iz papirja so viseli s stropa, medtem ko so si pacienti in osebje prizadevali ustvariti svetlo vzdušje v tem sicer strogem in sterilnem okolju.

Sl: Zala, prijazna sestra, je odprla vrata in ji pokimala, da lahko vstopi.

Sl: "Dovoljeno je obisk," je rekla s toplim nasmehom.
En: "Visiting is allowed," she said with a warm smile.

Sl: Mateja je zadihala in stopila v svetlo sobo.
En: Mateja took a deep breath and stepped into the bright room.

Sl: Aleš je sedel ob oknu, gledal je ven v nič.
En: Aleš sat by the window, staring out into nothingness.

Sl: "Živjo, Aleš," je rekla mehko.
En: "Hello, Aleš," she said softly.

Sl: Ni odgovoril.
En: He didn’t respond.

Sl: Mateja je pripravila svoj načrt.
En: Mateja had prepared her plan.

Sl: S seboj je prinesla platno, čopiče in barve.
En: She had brought with her a canvas, brushes, and paints.

Sl: "Pomisli na vse te buče in duhce," je rekla v upanju, da bo zvabil nekaj odziva.

Sl: "Morda bi rad naslikal kaj strašljivega?
En: "Maybe you'd like to paint something spooky?"

Sl: " Aleš je najprej ostal molčeč, a na koncu je vzel čopič.
En: At first, Aleš remained silent, but eventually, he picked up a brush.

Sl: Medtem ko je risal, so barve začele govoriti.
En: As he painted, the colors began to speak.

Sl: Temačne sence in svetli oranžni odtenki so zaplesali na platnu.
En: Dark shadows and bright orange hues danced on the canvas.

Sl: Zale je stala ob strani in lovila vsako malenkost.
En: Zala stood by, catching every detail.

Sl: Mateja je pazljivo spremljala, nato pa, nepričakovano, je Aleš spregovoril.
En: Mateja watched carefully, and then, unexpectedly, Aleš spoke.

Sl: "Nekaj me straši, Mateja," je šepetal.
En: "Something frightens me, Mateja," he whispered.

Sl: "Ne tu, ampak v meni.
En: "Not here, but within me."

Sl: " Njihove oči so se srečale in Matejina ljubezen je bila kot svetilnik v temni noči.
En: Their eyes met, and Mateja's love was like a lighthouse in a dark night.

Sl: Aleš je nadaljeval z risanjem in slikal svojo notranjo temo.
En: Aleš continued to paint his inner darkness.

Sl: Mateja je razumela njegovo tišino, začutila njegovo bolečino pa tudi željo po izboljšanju.
En: Mateja understood his silence, sensed his pain, and his desire for improvement.

Sl: Zala je nežno položila roko na Aleševo ramo.
En: Zala gently placed a hand on Aleš's shoulder.

Sl: "Prav je, da izraziš, kar čutiš," je rekla.

Sl: Ko sta platno končala, je na njem nastala podoba, ki je kazala begajočo jezo in strahove pa tudi tihe trenutke upanja.

Sl: Mateja je stisnila bratovo roko.
En: Mateja squeezed her brother's hand.

Sl: "Tu sem zate, Aleš," je šepnala.
En: "I'm here for you, Aleš," she whispered.

Sl: "Nisi sam.
En: "You are not alone."

Sl: "Ko je bil čas za odhod, je Mateja začutila spremembo v sebi.
En: As it was time to leave, Mateja felt a change within herself.

Sl: Razumela je, da potrebujeta čas.

Sl: Aleš jo je spremljal z očmi, ko je stopila proti vratom.

Sl: Jesen je prinesla hladen zrak, a v njeni duši je bilo toplo.
