Tea Talk – S1 Ep11 – Domestic Abuse Pt 5: The Power And Control Cycle – Healing The Survivor
Description
In this week's episode we’re concluding our discussion about Domestic Abuse and the Wheel of Power and Control. We'll discuss how Survivor’s begin to heal: what the process looks like, the stages of recovery, and how to have healthy relationships after abuse.
As a special surprise, we’ll be playing Kaley Bishop’s song “Rewrite Your Story” from the Song House, and we have a special message of hope and inspiration from Kaley herself!
This is the fifth segment in a multi-part series, in which we also talk about the types of abuse in the Power and Control Cycle, Victim Support, Escape Plans, How To Support The Abuser, and How Survivors Begin To Heal.
As a special guest, my mother will be joining us to share her own experiences with Domestic Abuse.
Please join us and share in the conversation.
