The Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum for LVUSD
Description
According to the California Department of Education laws, the majority of approved Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum for the Las Virgenes Unified School District should be Asian authors, not Black authors.
Why did the Las Virgenes Unified School District curriculum council approve 70% black authors for the Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum when there are clear guidelines on how to appropriate the books based on the demographics of the District?
Lesli Stein for re-election LVUSD School Board 2022 and Linda Menges are assigned to the LVUSD Curriculum Council, and they did not speak up about this. Why not?
