In this episode, Rachel teaches the technique of breath holding as a way to increase athleticism. Improving the body's tolerance to CO2 can lead to more efficient oxygen delivery to cells and muscles, thereby enhancing exercise performance. This walking exercise involving breath holds gradually helps to improve CO2 tolerance, and can be implemented into jogging, running and biking routines to increase intensity of workouts, without physical strain.

In this episode, Rachel explains and guides you through the 10, 20, 30 method. This is a deep breathing technique aimed at combating lethargy, an extremely common condition in today's fast-paced world. Instead of relying on stimulants such as coffee or energy drinks, this method involves taking natural and conscious breaths to help invigorate the mind and body.
The process involves taking a series of deep breaths in three sets, first 10, then 20, and finally 30, each followed by holding the breath for an equivalent number of seconds. As a result, this can create a burst of energy and focus, helpful before taking on an intense activity such as a sports event or high energy presentation. As always, Rachel walks you through each step in calm and confidence, to help you achieve better balance and energy to conquer your daily challenges.

Quality sleep is an integral piece of your overall health and fitness routine. One effective way to achieve this is to use a
breathing exercise called the '4-7-8 Method' which is beneficial for promoting sleep and relaxation.

In this episode, Rachel is joined by Olympic Gold Medalist, World Champion, best-selling author, and the founder of Mental Management Systems: Lanny Bassham.
Lanny has been teaching mental management for over four decades and has worked with many clients, including PGA tour members, the FBI, Navy SEALs, and even Olympic teams. Lanny takes us on his journey, from his own mental setback in international rifle shooting to his development of Mental Management Systems. Within six years of developing and practicing his system, he dominated his sport, winning 22 world individual and team titles, setting four world records, and winning the coveted Olympic Gold Medal in Montreal in 1976.
Rachel also reveals how she personally has experienced the power of Lanny's techniques in their pursuit of bodybuilding, and how Lanny's books, like With Winning In Mind and Freedom Flight were life-changing for her.
