Logline: After her divorce, Veronica returns to New Jersey after 30 years to try to rekindle her romance with her first love Vinnie, but he is now engaged to someone else.

Episode Summary:

Veronica has just finalized her divorce from her husband Henry and moved into a new apartment in Seattle with the help of her daughter April and friend Dan. Feeling depressed about the divorce, she impulsively decides to fly to New Jersey, where she grew up. Her childhood best friend Leanne picks her up from the airport. Leanne reveals that she knows Veronica is there to try to get back together with Leanne's brother Vinnie, who was Veronica's first love 30 years ago. Leanne warns Veronica that Vinnie is now happily engaged to a woman named Maddie.

Leanne takes Veronica back to her home, trying to keep Vinnie from seeing Veronica. However, Vinnie catches a glimpse of Veronica and crashes his motorcycle in shock. Veronica cares for an injured Vinnie, and they argue about her being there. Vinnie insists Veronica leave immediately, but she refuses.

Veronica calls her worried daughter April and lies about where she is. Leanne and Veronica have a heart-to-heart about Veronica's intentions - Leanne doesn't believe Veronica will be able to resist pursuing Vinnie again.

Vinnie sees Veronica walking in the rain and gives her a ride to the restaurant they used to own together. They argue about Veronica wanting to work there again. Veronica shocks Vinnie by admitting she still loves him and wants him back. Vinnie storms out, unable to process this revelation.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Vinnie confused about his lingering feelings for Veronica and her surprise confession, while Veronica seems determined to try to win Vinnie back despite his engagement. Their unfinished romantic history has been reignited after 30 years apart.
